You need the IDD aka the prefix for South Africa.  which is +27

 

You also need to ensure you have no spend cap, or have enough credit for the call, and you have no bars on your account

This is not customer services and we dont have access to your account
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company

@StellaLuxMagi If you download WhatsApp and the person you're calling in South Africa also has the app you can call, text, or video call using a WiFi connection for free.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
