Charged in app via text (scam??)

Hi all,

Accidently clicked on an advert within an app and recieved a text from 69686 stating "Thank you very much, you have full access during 24 hours to the APP" I am very worried my next monthly bill is going to come through as some extortionate amount?!?! 

Has anyone had experience with this any advice??

These short message services are big business and it's easy to subscribe accidentally. More info on this particular 'service' here:

PhonepayPlus is the organisation that regulates phone-paid services in the UK. Follow the advice on their website. It's a problem that crops up regularly on the forum. Two threads below.
