Hi All
I'm new to O2 only 4 days I've got a Samsung Galaxy 3 I'm on a monthly contract with unlimited texts. Checked my O2 today to find that I've already going to be charged £3.80 for sending messages, I've only been sending out text's, NO multimedia so why the charge.
Any help much appreciated.
Fred

If you speak to customer service, quite a few people have had the charges refunded after complaining. Enjoy your weekend:smileyhappy:

I have just had a similar experience today and the lady at O2 said: "If you have included punctuation or used more than 160 characters you get charged as an MMS." I inquired how sending an ASCII code of 44 or 46 could instigate such a procedure, at which point she agreed to refund my £4.67. I am now trying to find where in O2's documentation it mentions this charge. One would expect a warning message to be displayed, similar to roaming charge messages, prior to setting up a Group. If I cannot find it I will raise it as a formal complaint.
Also you should be able to turn off MMS.
