App always running... why???

Hey folks this is just a quick one and more curiosity than an issue of any kind.

First of all I've got a stock Note 3 on 4.4.2 pay monthly.

It's just that every time I go to the option to end active programmes it is always running Play Music or You Tube whatever else I have on both or one or the other is running even though I barely use them anymore.

Is there any particular reason why either of them are always running as opposed to any other Google app ??

Yeah, that is how Android is designed to work.
It will open and close apps as and when it needs them or feels like it and it automatically controls it's own RAM usage.
It is not wise to keep closing them as the system will reopen then again and it will just use more battery doing so.

Not in the same way, no.

It used to bug the hell out of me and I was forever closing the Google play music app down. Seems it's completely normal when you google it and it doesn't bother me at all now.
