Topic.
I have filled in the form (Thanks to Toby PMing me the link) to unlock my old Galaxy S2, apparently it has been rejected (again!) because the phone was not bought direct from O2.
I am aware of that! It was bought on Saturday August 25th 2011 from Phones 4 U in the Meadowhall Centre in,Sheffield, England, Planet Earth!
I need to get this phone unlocked to sell it on either CEX or eBay, customer services won't do it, I've filled in the form, twice, and it has been rejected both times! I'd rather not have to pay £15-35 to get it done by a shop.
Can I do anything?

I managed to get the phone unlocked, cost me £30 but I have added the price to the selling price of the phone on eBay, plus the cost of a £12.99 charger from O2,
I'd post the link to it on eBay but I don't know what the rules are on here regarding eBay links?

Spurious links to websites aren't allowed, especially for selling personal items.

Well, I put the phone on eBay last night, and I've just had an email from eBay, it has sold already for the full asking price of £130! Whoo and indeed hoo!

The sale fell through (see my "Ebay problems" thread in off topic), cos the buyer told me he didn't actually buy it, and that several items have been bought on his account without his authorisation! So either his account has been hacked, or he lets other people have access to it like his kids or whoever.
Not my problem, and I have reported him to eBay for fraud.

I managed to get the phone unlocked, took it back to the shop that charged me £30 last week, and they sent it to their technician to be properly unlocked, this time for free, and it has worked.
I will not be selling it, I will keep it as a spare phone or maybe even let Mum use it.
