In theory you shouldn't but people do. You need to remember the contract will be in YOUR name so if whoever you sell it to defaults on a payment, you will be responsible. However, if you are selling it to pay off the balance of the watch, then that would be better for you.

No one else will be able to use the watch cellular functions until you pay it off completely as it will still be tied to your account and O2 won't release it until fully paid. So no, you can't really sell it on until it's paid for.
