upgrading 1 month early, what happens..

what happens when you upgrade 1 month early.

ie your contract expires on 30th april, you upgrade early online on 30th march.

if you upgraded to a 24 month deal does you new contract end on 30 april 2015 or 30th march 2015?

 I asked O2 this same question instore out of curiosity as my son was due an upgrade with Orange but was told that because he had upgraded 3 month's early last  time ( after Orange called him and offered the early upgrade ) he would have to wait another 3 month's as they tack the early upgrade period onto the their standard contract period's, no amount of telling them that this was never explained when the offer was made had any effect and so they lost his and his girlfriends business and they moved to O2, hence why i asked O2 for their conditions re early upgrade's

With O2 your contract period remains the same. If you upgrade 1 month early you will have the upgrade for 2 years and 1 month but you can always upgrade 1 month early again. The length of the contract never changes.
