Hiya, hoping for some assistance here. I've been looking at my bill online as my 500mb of data allowance for the last two or three months is also used up. I've connected to wifi at home and work and for three weeks in December was at home poorly so didnt use.
My bill today for the last month shows every night around 10pm or 11pm then just on or after midnight it shows browse and download as source idata.o2.co.uk
Any advice much appreciated

The O2 system uploads and updates the system every day at midnight and shows the data used during that day. It's possible that apps are constantly updating and wifi switches off and uses mobile data when the phone sleeps.
To stop this usage turn off mobile/cellular data when you are at home on wifi.

Those times are the daily total one fou upload and one for download.
as you have an iPhone when at home just turn cellular/mobile data off to prevent any usage not on wifi when the iphone sleeps (turns wifi off)

From personal experience it's also worthwhile checking your iCloud settings.
Settings > iCloud > Documents and Data
My 4s came with this preset to 'Use Cellular'. Simply turn that off.
As already suggested manually managing your Cellular/Mobile data would also be a good start.
