O2 can delay payments on customer's accounts. Restrictions will be put back on automatically if the account wasn't put on hold correctly by the advisor, or if the customer's payment wasn't made by the agreed date, or if the restriction is already pending on the network at the time of the call (as they can't see the pending restrictions).

Advice is for the customer to get back in touch with the Payment Management Team by calling 202 from your O2 phone.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

@Phi You should have a direct debit in place then you wouldn’t face this problem. They may restrict outgoing calls or disconnect the phone completely then only reconnect you after the payment of the bill & a reconnecting fee

Hey @Phi welcome back! slight_smile

Please do let us know how you're getting on with this and if you managed to get in contact with the payment management team?
