Warning - Data Update Charges

Anonymous
Not applicable
I'm no phone geek so I only use my phone for calls, messaging, camera & little else. Unfortunately unknown to me my phone was set up to allow the apps on the phone to be updated daily. (The Use Packet Data in network settings was ticked). This went unnoticed by me as it made very little to my bill until September and October when it cost me £25 per month. Hope this helps some people.

No one has said O2 are going to do anything - Just that the info will be fed back.... As we know only to well, this doesn't mean anything will happen 😞

Read it again, Toby said he would pass it back to be looked at, nobody knows if anything will come from it.

We make dozens of recommendations, some get implemented and some don't, so we'll have to wait and see.

I commented that it was a pointless thread because the OP started two threads within a day of each other on the same topic but using a different heading, not because the topic was pointless. Yet again the OP got the wrong end of the stick. Smiley Frustrated

If they were to ask for help instead of repeatedly saying the same things in different threads we might get somewhere.
