I am trying to upgrade my iPhone 11 to an iPhone 12 pro max but I still need to pay off £470 of it. When I upgraded from the iPhone 8 + to the iPhone 11 I was able to use the money from recycling it to pay it off at the same time as buying the new phone. I wanted to do that again but it says I need to buy the new phone and then I can get an extra £100 on my old phone which would pay the contract off. How does this work?

Seem slightly different this time. It appears you have to send your phone off for recycling either before or after purchase.

Probably better to send off after otherwise you could be without a phone, if the one you want is out of stock.

You could call O2 and discuss options with them? All numbers are in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

To get the extra £100 you have to wait until you have used your new phone and it has registered on the system, you then use your order number as the voucher code to give you the extra credit on your recycle value.

This can then be sent to you as a cheque or bill credit so use as you wish.
