So it is time to upgrade
I did this 2 weeks before xmas - a nice surprise xmas present I thought - foolishly
Then next day delivery did not happen
I contact o2 and they assure me it will arrive by Sat 21st Dec
I get worried when I have no notification so I ask how I can guarantee it does not arrive over Xmas week because there will be no-one there to receive it
I am advised to phone and I do this
2 hours later I am promised that a note has been added to my order to say delay until 28 Dec and I will be sent a confirmation text - surprise surprise that did not arrive
This evening - after help lines closed of course I get notice of delivery on 24th Dec - luckily the courier still operates longer hours and I was able to change the delivery date before losing wifi signal
Then I get another text from o2 saying my tariff has changed! - I haven't got the ****** phone! ...and of course I can't contact them because it is "out of hours" but I am going to be "out of hours" until 28th Dec
So someone minus a christmas present, a load of extra hassle, now having to rearrange plans post Xmas to make sure I am in for delivery. I wish I had gone to a shop!

I bet I am not the only one having these issues - it is a nightmare
I put in a complaint and they say they may ring me in their standard reply. I hope they do - it will cost them a small fortune as I will be abroad

Literally hundreds of people having the same problem and apparently they are trying to get all phones out for Christmas
Somehow I can see a lot of disappointed customers without their orders
