If you apply the O2 Travel Bolt On it will cost you £4.99 a day for each day you use it.
However O2's roaming speeds are vey poor in the US and you would be well advised to buy and use a local sim from AT&T or T Mobile when you land.
O2 Travel here https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/international/using-phone-abroad
O2 Travel is available on Pay Monthly. 120 minutes, 120 texts and data for £4.99 a day
If you've got a Pay Monthly sim, text O2TRAVELto 23336. I
Also use free wifi and apps like Messenger to keep in touch with friends and family back in the UK
Turn voicemail off.
If you want to use a local US sim then make sure your phone is unlocked Guide: Unlocking an O2 phone to use a different SIM card
