I became a new member to O2 last month and ay £7.50 for unlimited texts, which expires at the end of this month. I got a text from O2 saying that I have ran out of texts...there's a limit on unlimited texts? I had £2.50 left, now just £1.78 so I'm already being charged for it.
Anyone care to exlplain what is going on?

I probably only get through around 500 texts per month nowadays, the likes of Facebook, WhatsApp and Skype etc have rendered SMS a dying technology. In my heyday I'd quite easily get through 5000 texts a month.

Yeah Facebook & what's app is good as you aren't using any text from your allowance, using the messenger function instead

I rarely use anything but whatsapp these days. I "only" get 500 texts on my allowance but I only use about 5 a month.....
