Help! I do not know what I am supposed to do with a Triple Sim that has just arrived.

I got a phone call a day or so ago, in which someone from O2 told me that my Plan was fully paid and asked me if I wanted to upgrade my phone. I told him that I was perfectly happy with my existing Samsung phone and he asked if I would like to reduce my bill by switching to another scheme. I agreed to this, provided nothing was to happen to my phone and I could continue to use it. He said that nothing would happen to my phone and I would just carry on as before. I was in the middle of cooking a meal and did not ask any more questions.  However, today I have received a 'Pay Monthly Triple Sim Card' . I do not know why. Am I supposed to insert this new Sim into my phone or not?

The trouble with sales by telephone is that the customer has no record of what he or she has agreed to. Can anyone explain this? I thought no change to my phone would be needed.    My order ref is MS-206943005.

The sim has been sent automatically as all new contracts get one.
To see your new tariff you can log into your MyO2 http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2 or call CS to speak to an agent http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus
There is no need to change your sim in your phone as the tariff will have changed at O2's end.

Thank you! Can the new SIM be sent back to O2 or recycled? It seems a pity to throw it away.

Just keep it as a spare in case you need it.
It's blank at the moment so nothing to worry about.
