I received a text message, apparently from o2 stating that they were unable to collect my direct debit and I was to visit a link and update my details. I went through the process of what is clearly a social engineering hack, targeting o2 customers. This spoof site is plausible, comprehensive and extremely dangerous. I forwarded all of the information onto spoof@o2.co.uk, which is how other big players receive this information and I find out over 24 hours later that my message was rejected. I then visit the genuine site to contact o2 and gave up! Frustrated is an understatement!
I would have rather sent this information privately, but o2 would rather I didn't.
