Genuine refund message

I had this email from o2 this morning advising of a refund I am expecting one but it looks a bit strange. Does anyone know if this is genuine. 

 

 

The above referenced order has been refunded.

We have refunded the charge today onto your payment card.

Please allow up to 5 working days for the refund to reach your account

Apologies, if any inconvenienced caused.

Below are the refund transaction details-

Card ending in: xxxx

Receipt no:

Date: 20.10.2015

Hi @Anonymous It seems legitimate to me... Just keep checking your bank to see if the monies have been refunded. wink

If the message isn't asking you to reply with your details or click on a link, it's probably legitimate, but do as @Cleoriff has suggested and check your bank account, or call customer service if you want confirmation.

You have posted on your other thread about the phone you returned no longer ringing so it seems obvious that O2 have accepted the return and refunded your money

Yeah it's legit alright.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
