I cancelled my O2 hotspot plan before I left the UK in early March and I was told that there would be an email sent to me with an attached final bill. I visited the O2 store near Covent Garden and made the call to the O2 customer service using their landline. However, today (6th April), I received another monthly bill instead of a final bill. And on my O2 page, it still shows that my plan has not been cancelled and there will be another monthly bill coming in May. I am currently not in the UK and won't be back for at least a year. So the only option left for me now is to cancel the direct debit from the bank side. UNBELIEVABLELY bad service of O2 when comes to cancellation. O2 customer service is much like a scam. It removed the email service and force you to contact via phone call, thus once you are abroad, they just keep taking the money away.

@YeYh0122 Do not cancel your Direct Debit. It will affect your credit rating if you don't cancel through the proper channels. See this guide on how to cancel: Cancelling your contract - An updated guide - O2 Community

You can call O2 using Skype: Guide: A Guide to Skype

Use +44800 032 1402 or +44800 081 0255
When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say 'Upgrade', 'Lost/Stolen', or 'Fraud' if the suggestion above doesn't get you through.
Best time to call is 8 am.
You can also reach O2 via social media:
Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB), Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW), or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)
