I have 500MB data per month and sometimes I run out and so add a data bolt-on, which rolls over. However, twice now, I have ended up with a huge drop in what's left on 'reset day'...
This time I added a 1GB bolt-on. So I would expect that on the first day of my new billing period, I would have a fresh 500MB plus whatever was left of my bolt-on. What was reported was '388MB of 957MB'. The data page in the app says I have used 569MB, shows my 500MB allowance plus 456.61MB carried over. So it calculates 957 - 569 = 388. But I used 569 in the previous cycle not this one - in this cycle I have used nothing yet: I'm at home on Wifi, so I should have 500 + 456.61 = 957MB - that is my new 500 plus what's left of my bolt-on.
O2 owes me 569MB. 😞
Even if you don't follow the calculations above, even with nothing to rollover, I would expect 500MB left on my first day of a new billing cycle, not less!
This isn't the first time this has happened. Anyone else losing out when their bolt-on rolls over?
