Hi, I am new to all this. I have just bought a mobile Hotspot. I was advised in the shop to take up an offer of buying the device for £11 a month and free unlimited data for three months (Total of £33) and then £36 a month after that for airtime. If I cancel at the end of the three months, what charges will I incurr for cancelling? There is no way I can afford £36 a month, which I did tell the sales person in the shop. I can not find any documents to read or informaion on My 02 relating to the airtime contract. Thanks, Worried

Hi @Worried1

If you have only just bought it, you can return within 30 days under the Change Of Mind policy.

@Worried1

Part of the process of buying a contract is an eligibility check.

If you told the sales person you couldn't afford the monthly payment there is no way you should have been sold it.

This is gross mis-selling and should be reported via the O2 complaints service.

https://www.o2.co.uk/how-to-complain

Even if you are passed the cooling off period, O2 should still cancel this immediately.

Obviously, you'll need to return the device too.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
