After upgrade and sim swap lost 4G

Hi, i have upgraded to sim only tariff, received a new sim, inserted in the iPhone 6. Contacted O2 to activate the sim and bolt on. I have done this now about 5 times, and still no 4G. Just 3G or none. The O2 gurus and top tech guys keep telling me that it all looks good and will be fine in 2-24 hours but still not working. I have reseted data network many times as well. O2 told me that bolt on is added to my account but when i check in my app its not there. Its been going on for days now. I did try all solutions i've seen here, no luck. Anyone can help please?

OK so called CS one more time and after a long wait... ... ... success! She said "she can see lots of people tried to deactivate BB add-on but did not save settings"???

Also got message from o2 saying "your 4G service is ready" - did not get that before? I guess if you have a 4G contract but you don't get this message it means it is not 4G enabled?

Anyway, if others have this issue remeber to tell CS to "save settings" wink

Thanks all!

Excellent - shouldn't have taken so long though 😞

A real shame that it took so long to find an advisor who knew what they were doing....Rolleys

So much time and effort wasted by customers...

I guess there is so much churn of agency staff these days that training is very basic. Awful service but hopefully you are sorted now.

Difficult to believe that a monkey couldn't be trained to press "save" though.....
