OK so called CS one more time and after a long wait... ... ... success! She said "she can see lots of people tried to deactivate BB add-on but did not save settings"???
Also got message from o2 saying "your 4G service is ready" - did not get that before? I guess if you have a 4G contract but you don't get this message it means it is not 4G enabled?
Anyway, if others have this issue remeber to tell CS to "save settings"

A real shame that it took so long to find an advisor who knew what they were doing....
So much time and effort wasted by customers...
