£10 big bundle payg new sim

Hey

I have recently recieved a new £10 PAYG sim and topped up online however once completed its only showing that I have 3GB of data instead of the offer of 15GB for 3 months when topping up £10?
First question,

Does this extra data show up after a few hours or is there an issue with my top up?

2nd question,

Inside the leaflet the sim card came in says that if I text FREE10 to 21500 then I an eligible for £10 credit but once I text this I recieved a message saying 'sorry you aren't eligible for this offer from us'

Can anyone help as it's both me and my girlfriend who are having the same issue! Both ordered a sim card the same day?

You need to call and O2 will add the credit manually

Everything is taking longer due to the lockdown. Call centres and social distancing means limited staff to handle all the queries. Patience needed I'm afraid.

Hi @Gilly89 ,

 

You have 28 days to claim your free £10. If your number is only newly activated it may take a few extra days to be fully registered on the network . Try again in a few days would be my advice.

 

Secondly if you text “5XDATA” to 2424 from your O2 Pay As You Go phone to activate the 5x data offer.

I had a feeling it needed abit longer but just wanted to check and not block up the line for someone who needed it!
