Need to have code every time before I can login to O2 site

Anonymous

Since having my old phone number added to my new monthly account via PAC number, I find every time I try to login, the enter details button is dead. I have instead to enter my phone number and wait for a six digit security code texted to me.

Does anyone else have this issue?

Hi @Anonymous ,

This can easily be resolved by customer services. All you have to do is ring them and explain what is happening and ask them to update your online login details with the correct mobile number.

Because the email you are using wasn't initially registered against you current mobile number it's causing a conflict. Hope It's not to confusing:smileywink:

Thanks for advice, but the issue was caused by my browser (Opera Mobile) automatically entering my saved username and password, although this left the submit button dead.

Although they had been saved correctly it seems if I delete the fields and re-enter them manually the submit button becomes active allowing normal login.

lol, and me thinking bad about O2s systems, shame on me!!

I think I know what was happening because my phone does the same to login on the forum, but I found out what to do.I used to delete everything like you, but now I only click on the username and then click on the password and I can press login. Try that, yours might be the same, you never know...:smileywink:
