Courtesy phone

I recently needed a repair on my mobile. I took it to the derby branch and they wiped my data pointing out to me that O2 is very concerned about confidentiality and Data Protection. The courtesy phone I was given however had the previous customer's contacts and texts still on it. So be sure to have any replacement phone wiped of your data before you leave the shop.

Quite ironic that is really slight_smile

oops someone messed up there.

Personally when I send a phone back after trialing it I hard reset it to remove all my data etc.

The shops should IMO be doing the same with loan phones.
