So tomorrow will be going local payg, will not be paying for this kind of trash ever again.

OrangeF or Sfr mate.
Take your passport and 10 euros to either shop to get the sim - then you'll need to top it up.
Sfr do a euro traveller top up which isn't too bad for value.

Both, I manually select and both are terrible, same with f Bouygues, terrible.

Daughter roaming plan with EE (£3  price per day) on same networks gets 10mb speed up to 500mb whereas this one gets under 1mb at any time.

Get good sfr signal so will follow your advice and get that card later today.

Definitely worse, if you remember I used to enjoy good speed. Last year and thus year are terrible, the service is a rip off disguised as a benefit

It's definitely got worse.
I was impressed when it first came out when I used it in Germany - now it's just pointless anywhere.
