blocked sites

Not applicable
I have a racing post app on my iphone and subscribe to that site and to a forum called punter profits and a tv channel called at the races. I have been accessing these sites daily for years.
All these sites have npw been blocked by O2 who say I have to prove I am 18. No warning. no customer care.
WHY?
Anyone can buy the racing post, anyone can watch At the races and anyone can access a Forum.
Surpizingly I can still access my bookies and place bets.
I have asked O2 but just get a response saying they don't understand my question.
They will understand when my contract runs out. I'm off
Is anyone else as annoyed as me?

I can't see your problem actually. For the protection of minors and vulnerable people I would far rather have this set as default and simply ask for it to be removed.

It's a legal requirement enforced by OFCOM on all network providers, so you need to get your facts right first before posting dribble.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

How to start and argument online, post an opinion... And wait.

For the record I agree that the filter should be on by default. Any one can nip onto Tesco etc and pick up a sim wink
