Never hidden my age but this might give you another clue...my two sons were into Rubiks Cube in the 80's. (the eldest could finish it in 59 seconds!) His son, now age 14 has resurrected it, and is trying hard to beat his dads record (NB he is nowhere near yet!!)

My eldest son had one in the 80s and none of us could master it. I told him one night that when he woke up in the morning I would have solved it!

To this day he doesn't know that I peeled off the coloured squares and restuck them on to look like I had done it!...after all, I was his heroSmiley Very HappySmiley Embarassed

Think I was the only dad in my son's junior school who had 'cracked it' and my son had been bragging about me so I couldn't admit my dishonesty:smileysad:
