nexus 5

Anybody looking forward to the imminent announcement of the nexus 5, I personally thought the nexus 4 was a amazing phone.

The nexus phone benefits are pure android no manufacturers overlays.

Unlocked from the manufacturer.

First to receive firmware updates..Etc

High end specifications at low prices.

Anyone agree/disagree.

In most cases phones are locked to o2. When updates come out from the manufacturer then o2 put them through their paces first before releasing the updates in batches so as not to overload networks.

So yes you may have to wait a little while but it is planned and intended to improve your user experience
