God, you guys are making me feel ancient - I remember pretty much all the stuff you've mentioned, and have to say - they just don't make 'em like that anymore
Definitely love R4 - 6.30pm weeknights - my favourite has to be the News Quiz on fridays with Sandi Toksvig (hope thats spelt correctly!) - listen to it on the way from work to the boozer, always arrive smiling

Another BBC classic I used to watch 30 years ago was Hi De Hi! Set on a 50s style Holiday camp, and I still call Butlins and all those kind of places "Hi De Hi" Holiday camps even now, lol.
The last time I went to one though was Camber Sands about 30 years ago.
