Word Hunt Diamond - Game 146

Welcome to

The Word Hunt Diamond Game is open to all members.

The aim of the game is to find the target number of words [as in the source used for the game] using only the letters in the grid.

Today`s Word Hunt Diamond has the following grid....

This week`s target is a target of 79 words - using only letters in the diamond - inc TWO 9-letter words.

With a larger target, it is likely that the game will not be completed by lunch [as in previous WHD],

so those at work or who have other commitments will have the chance to join in later. The game will continue through the evening and if not finished by the time I have to go will continue tomorrow [Wed] morning.  

 RULES

No proper names are allowed.

Each word must contain four letters or more and must include the red letter C.

Scottish words and American spellings are allowed.

Each letter in the grid can only be used once in each word 

Of course, words do not have to start with the red letter C.

Each player may post up to two words per post.

Please wait until someone else has posted before posting again but if the game is running slow,

and no-one has posted for at least 10 mins, then a player may post again. 

PLEASE NOTE:

During the game, I will have to STOP the game periodically so I can give updates of words found.

Please be patient and wait. I hope this does not cause too much delay or disruption to the game. 

Towards the end of the game, as soon as the LAST WORD in the list is given, I will post an announcement - LAST WORD FOUND. PLEASE STOP THE GAME - and I will then post my reply to the words given up to the announcement, showing whether the word is in the list or is a word not in the list; after that, I will post the Congratulations - who found the last word; who found the nine-letter word; and who gave the most words not in the list up to when I posted the announcement LAST WORD FOUND, PLEASE STOP THE GAME.

I will be giving awards to players 

- for finding each of the two nine-letter words

     - for finding the last word in the list in the source used for the game

- for finding the most words not in the list up to when announcement

                       LAST WORD FOUND, PLEASE STOP THE GAME [words after announcement will not count]

Can you, between you, not only find the 79 words in the list [in the source used for this game], and the two nine-letter words in this WHD game, but also find additional words not in the list ?

I agree @pgn  😂 The tea spill may not have happened if only I'd stayed in bed a little longer. Getting up at 5.50am wasn't such a good idea. There again, I was awake and I knew the sun was shining, so up I got. 😎

Thanks for your congratulations. It doesn't happen often (If ever) 😂

As for the tea, that was a nightmare. I have a little table (with a drawer and shelf which sits to the left of me). Holds phone, diary, pens, notepads etc. My tea however, goes on a little shelf attached to the right hand side of my computer table. I'm right handed so that's ideal.

BUT, up early yesterday I was tiring. Moved the tea to my left hand to type my words into WHD and nodded off. 😂

Other half yelled 'Watch your tea!!' Too late, full mug tipped at right angle and poured over table top!! Luckily I grabbed phone and diary so they escaped. Nothing else did. My brand new notepad, car keys. purse etc etc, all soaked. Took a while to dry stuff off.  We had to pull the little table out and dry it all off as well as mopping the laminate floor. Lesson learnt. 😂
