Word Hunt Diamond - Game 114

Welcome to

The Word Hunt Diamond Game is posted on Off Topic every Tuesday and is open to all members.

The aim of the game is to find the target number of words [as in the source used for the game] using only the letters in the grid.

Today`s Word Hunt Diamond has the following grid....

This week`s target is 67 words - using only letters in the diamond - inc one 9-letter word - and all words must be four letters or more and include the red-letter U.

PLEASE NOTE:

During the game, I will have to STOP the game periodically so I can give updates of words found.

Please be patient and wait. I hope this does not cause too much delay or disruption to the game. 

Towards the end of the game, as soon as the LAST WORD in the list is given, I will post an announcement - LAST WORD FOUND. PLEASE STOP THE GAME - and I will then post my reply to the words given up to the announcement, showing whether the word is in the list or is a word not in the list; after that, I will post the Congratulations - who found the last word; who found the nine-letter word; and who gave the most words not in the list up to when I posted the announcement LAST WORD FOUND, PLEASE STOP THE GAME.

I will be giving awards to players 

star  - to player who finds the nine-letter word           

    trophy - to player who finds the last word in the list in the source used for the game

diamond dog - to player who finds the most words not in the list up to when announcement

              - LAST WORD FOUND, PLEASE STOP THE GAME [words after announcement will not count]

 The rules:

No proper names are allowed.

Each word must contain four letters or more and must include the red letter U.

Scottish words and American spellings are allowed.

Each letter in the grid can only be used once in each word 

Of course, words do not have to start with the red letter U

Only one word per post.

Please wait until someone else has posted before posting again.

The Word Hunt Diamond game is open to all members.

Well done on finding the nine-letter word and most words not in the list.

Without checking over 100 WHD games, I know this has got to be one of the longest WHD games to solve.

Hopefully I can find a game for next week which won`t take quite as long.

Thanks for all your hard work @Mi-Amigo. I've done every WHD and can say, without doubt, THIS has taken the longest to finish.

I know one went up until past midnight but we had to wait until the morning for the results..

The slippage into anarchy with words being issued in pairs or without leaving a gap for someone else has been overlooked of late, particularly when quiet in the early mists of Tuesday morning. I try to watch, if nothing has been added in, say, 5 mins from the last word (as measured by the forum timestamp), I may slip another one in there - this time, as I was busy off-Forum, I more often posted two words - p'raps best not to be quite so brazen, methinks 😇

This one took a while to be finished indeed eh?!
Glad I could contribute, even though for a short-period of time and with only a few words. 
Well done everyone and thanks @Mi-Amigo for running a two-day game. Sounds very 'tennisy' 🎾
