As to the World Cup question, it is commonly [but wrongly] thought - as Geoff Hurst scored a hat-trick - that he scored the first goal.

The centurian one is from the QI associated book. I admit that when I first read it, I fell for the wrong answer.

I guessed one correct = The Owl & the Pussycat sailed away to the land where the Bong Tree grows

I thought a centurion was a leader of no soldiers ie he was 1 in a 100 ... = ... incorrect

The other questions I just did not know
