There are two White Room Quizzes each week - one on Monday and one on Wednesday.

Today`s WRQ is 8 questions with two questions on each of these categories

   PEOPLE    GEOGRAPHY    SCIENCE      FOOD & DRINK

 

The White Room Quiz is open to all members.

Those wishing to take part must pm me - @Mi-Amigo  - their answers between 12 noon today [Wed] and

03.00am Friday morning.

Please do not post your answers on the thread.

The White Room Quiz is open to all members of the Community.

Each member must pm [private message] their answers to me [Mi-Amigo] after 12 noon today [Wed 25 Sept 2024] and before 03.00am Fri 27 Sept 2024.

 

Please do not post your answers on the thread.

The answers - and results for each player taking part - will be posted on Fri 27 Sept 2024.

Each member will be awarded star  for each correct answer. In addition, Thinkers will be awarded as follows

THE RULES

Each member must pm [private message] their answers to me Mi-Amigo after 12 noon today [Wed 25 Sept

2024] and before 03.00am on Fri 27 Sept 2024.

No member is to post any answer on the thread.

Any answer received after 03.00am on Fri 27 Sept 2024 will be declared void.

No googling, wiki, youtube search for answers.

The White Room Quiz is open to all members.

New members, who have recently joined the Community, and members who have not taken part before, are welcome to join the "regulars" with this week`s quiz. 

Please feel free to post any comments on the questions - but not the answers - on this thread.

If you have any questions about the quiz, please ask and I will reply here.

By the way - the clue in question 5 made me think of this popular children's book by Lynley Dodd: Slinky Malinki, Open the Door. - in which Stickybeak Syd is a rainbow lorikeet) 🤣

Love that @pgn 

Must admit to nearly making the same error as you with the Sex Pistols. Jonny Rotten (Lydon) was the lead singer. However, I then remembered that Sid Vicious had that very high profile relationship with a 20 yr old  American Nancy Spungen. They were constantly off their heads on drugs and she was found dead with a knife wound to her stomach. Vicious was accused of her murder but took an overdose whilst on bail and killed himself. The tragic thing is, most police thought Nancy was killed by a dealer, not Sid.

Anyway, I only knew his real name (John Simon Ritchie) due to the court case.

He also had a spat with Freddie Mercury when they were both in the recording studios. Freddie kicked his ass. 😂
