Oooh, there's always a sting at the end 😁

Great quiz, @Mi-Amigo, altho EngLit only helped by the books Mrs pgn had to read for her studies, not a shelf I normally go near 😜

@pgn

Thank you for your kind comments, although I was surprised Literature is only helped by Mrs pgn`s books given your knowledge of words.

@MI5

Thank you. Pleased you enjoyed the quiz. It shows that sometimes a guess pays off.

@Cleoriff

Thank you. Pleased you enjoyed the quiz and, by the way, well done on knowing both of the novels by Anne Bronte - a difficult and hard question as she is the lesser known of the Brontes.

Yes there is a PHYSICS question on Monday - the good news is there will be no QI-style question in any of the questions in Monday`s WRQ.

If it's shy an apostrophe,

   it's English.

Yes, y'see, @Mi-Amigo: if it's who wrote what about whom and when, that's out of my jurisdiction. However, how they chose to spell whatever they wrote, that's my arena 😁

A bit like Mercedes and F1 - the driver knows what pedals to press and when, but the guys in the back-room know how to make the pedal-press get it over the line... Fear

Like that.

Reminds me of the army saying:

If it moves, salute it.

If it doesn't move, pick it up.

If you can't pick it up, paint it.
