There are two White Room Quizzes each week - one on Monday and one on Wednesday.

Today`s WRQ is 8 questions, with 2 questions on each of these categories:

   HISTORY   NATURE   LITERATURE   FOOD & DRINK

The White Room Quiz is open to all members.

Those wishing to take part must pm me - @Mi-Amigo  - their answers between 12 noon today [Mon] and

03.00am Wednesday morning.

The White Room Quiz is open to all members of the Community.

Each member must pm [private message] their answers to me [Mi-Amigo] after 12 noon today [Mon 05 Jan 2026] and before 03.00am Wed 07 Jan 2026.

Please do not post your answers on the thread.

The answers - and results for each player taking part - will be posted on Wed 07 Jan 2026 .

Each member will be awarded   for each correct answer. In addition, Thinkers will be awarded as follows

THE RULES

Each member must pm [private message] their answers to me Mi-Amigo after 12 noon today [Mon 05 Jan

2026] and before 03.00am on Wed 07 Jan 2026.

No member is to post any answer on the thread.

Any answer received after 03.00am on Wed 07 Jan 2026 will be declared void.

No googling, wiki, youtube search for answers.

The White Room Quiz is open to all members.

New members, who have recently joined the Community, and members who have not taken part before, are welcome to join the "regulars" with this week`s quiz. 

Please feel free to post any comments on the questions - but not the answers - on this thread.

If you have any questions about the quiz, please ask and I will reply here.

Thanks, I'm not sure on 2 or 3 so, I might just watch and learn on this one.

I asked my OH what the BFG eats and their answer was Sainsburys food deliveries 😆

Thank you for your post @Spindle 

I appreciate your interest and can understand you "might just watch and learn".

Having said that, I would add that even our regular quizzers don`t always kmow the answer to every question, sometime giving funny answers - as your OH did.

Also I should add that it is OK to ask friends and family for help with WRQ - as long as no-one makes an online search or uses reference books.

I hope that you will be able to join in soon, and if you come up with any answers to this quiz and want to take part you have until 3am [early hours/middle of the night] on Wed morning to pm me your answers.

Due to nightmare problems with [temp] reformatting of Community yesterday, I was unable to get on.

I could see there was some work going on with forum when I logged back on at 6pm. I thought it was Firefox.

I use laptop and tried Chrome which worked perfectly. I tried Firefox again (about midnight) and that was back working correctly.
