Hey guys,

Leonard and I thought it might be nice to include an update every week on the community of new gadget and technology news.

There are lots of places to find out this info and I was wondering if any if you lovely lot had any sites that you use regularly that are very informative?

Such as techradar, t3, gizmodo etc.

That way we can have a wider variety and include all the great news from around the world slight_smile

So, where do you find out the latest goings-on?

Toby

That's an interesting idea jonsie I like it. How would you see it happening? A routine? A set subject for each week? Or a variety each time? We have had lots of news stories discussed in the last few weeks so if that continues it's definitely a possibility!

Maybe regular features and latest news. We could incorporate the Saturday film club and the weekly profiles, new handset releases and reviews etc. But no community posts as that would detract from the main community here. Hints and tips, community member photos (or similar to the funny photo thread?)

Just think it might bring everything that's good about the community into a weekly/monthly magazine that could be emailed to the members.

A great idea jonsie. The email aspect is fantastic

I'll have a think about this, as your description has made me think about the amount of options available with the huge amount of content we have now haha.

Absolutely brilliant idea! Loving this!

How would you feel about all of us doing this together?

For example, an idea might be to have a thread where people can opt in for getting the magazine. Additionally the thread could also be used for people to suggest fixed items (such as member spotlight, a "did you know...", etc) and to suggest or even write those short articles, reviews, hints & tips.

If someone then collects everything and puts it in a PDF, he/she could easily distribute it to everyone on the opt-in list. That would truly make it a magazine for and by the community.

What do you reckon?
