Think we're having bad weather? This is tonight's forecast for the Northeastern US.

Well the bridge is tall enough for a HGV to go under, and the people walking across the bridge look to be the same height as the gap underneath it - so I would say it is about 4m deep

Just seen a post on Facebook from Beds police.

They estimate there is between 55 & 60 MILLION litres of water under the bridge.

And that is after they have removed 5 million litres! (Which would fill 2 Olympic pools)

Apparently some clever people tried to drive through it before it got this deep, so there are abandoned vehicles in it too.

And more rain is forecast this week...

Rainy day today ... but have been out and about in the fresh air wearing suitable clothing ... steady wind blowing cold off the Leeds Liverpool canal ... 16c indoors so central heating switched on ... forecast for Friday is cloudy with sunny intervals & 19% chance of rain.

Friday :-

Heavy rain overnight. Dry but grey and cloudy for most of the day. Brightened up at 4.00pm, sun came out, clouds cleared and blue skies.

Now feels a lot cooler at 11 degrees celsius, down from 16 degrees celsius at 2.00pm.
