Heavy overnight rain gave way to a grey and cloudy morning. Blustery winds but no sunshine. The rain resumed at lunchtime and is still falling heavily. 

It remains mild ; twelve degrees celsius at 2.00pm and eleven degrees celsius at the time of writing.
