We felt really cold today when the central heating developed a fault!
Luckily a local firm were able to fix it quickly.
Temp outside is now 5c. Thankful the heating is working!
Very good it got fixed so quickly @Cleoriff .
One of the reasons why some of the home insurance firms say to test heating in September is to make sure any issues are found and fixed before it's really needed.
Got rather wet and windy last night, and the wind is still going this morning.

Must admit they came out quickly as I'm classed 'at risk'.
That's a bit of a bonus at times 😂
However at 13c today, it stayed off. It's warm air central heating and apparently has long gone out of fashion. A bit of an expense to change it after the New Year!!

Wednesday :-
Heavy overnight rain gave way to a grey and overcast morning. It was quite blustery, no rain and no sun ; this all changed about 3.00pm when it started to rain heavily. It is torrential at the time of writing.
Milder ; 13 degrees celsius at 2.00pm and 11 degrees celsius at the time of writing.

Chucking down intermittently - driving rain and strong southerly winds. Had to get up at 3am to close a window that had blown open in a particularly vicious gust...

Yeah warm air is not the most efficient way of doing it @Cleoriff but it was popular at one time.
We have the more recent but still out of date boiler/hot water tank system with two tanks in the loft!
For weather, the ran came back yesterday evening and it was horrid.
The wind and rain both stopped in the night, so this morning is just grey.
