If it were up to me the heating would have been off since about Feb, but due to my OH and DD it is on now and then when it is cold.

I regularly get asked "are you not cold" while walking about in a tshirt while she has a jumper, quilt and hot water bottle!!

Not quite as bad as my student days - I only gave in to wearing jeans for Nov-Feb in my first year, otherwise it was shorts all the way!

yes @Cleoriff I shall be with my mum this weekend, so hopefully weather permitting will be able to take her to the festival

I hope the weather IS ok Jane. It's damn cold across the country today. People have been sending in pictures showing snowfall in various areas...Fear

I've been at home all day today ... & ... central heating is on ... yesterday there was sleet, snow, hail, sunshine with rain to start the day ... Skipton is known as The Gateway To The Dales, & it's usually more severe weather up there ... couldn't watch the 1st leg of the Tour de Yorkshire as it's not on Channel 4 this year, only on Sky 1 HD which I don't have ... maybe some hightlights on tv later ... my son & his partner have been away in the Lake District this week cycling & walking, hoping they have had a good time slight_smile
