Talking about animals @TallTrees, we have 2 cats, not known for making a noise.

Ray shot out of bed at 4am as one or the other was yowling as if in terrible pain.

He found both of them stood at the window between the slatted blinds, yowling and hissing. He could see the outside intruder light was on.

When he checked, there was a black and white cat stood there, obviously on it's way to the back fence and our conservatory 'cat flap', to enjoy our cat's biscuits which are always in the conservatory.

However, the yowling from our two had stopped him in his tracks. When Ray appeared, the would be biscuit

thief ran off 😂

Still, he knows where the bicuits are, so no doubt he'll be back.

I didn't know our two felines were capable of making such noise. 😂

One of our neighbour's cats is a regular visitor to ours. He's often seen on our kitchen security camera wandering about, and has been scared off by our dog most nights.

Apart from the wind howling into the conservatory, he's the other reason I've got a replacement cat flap to put on so I can lock him out!

@gmarkj

Our's isn't a cat flap as such. When the conservatory was built we had 2 little dogs. The cats came later. We were told the glaziers couldn't cut a cat flap into the double glazed all glass doors.

So we had a small window put in. The cat biscuits and water are in conservatory. So is the litter tray.

However, neither cat uses the litter tray and they go out via this small window.

So as they can go out, other cats can get in. Never really been an issue as cats are very territorial...but now we have a new cat on the block...we'll see! 😂

@Cleoriff

I cut the hole into the existing conservatory (with a lot of help/guidance from a friend who had done his) when we got our cats.

Our old two were fine with the cat flap, but one of the "new" boys will only go out - if he can't convince someone to open the door for him that is!

As one of next door's is visiting a lot, and stealing their food, there's not much else to do except put it back on.

I've just had a word with Ray re this. Apparently the weather is due to get colder over the next few days, so I've said we need to shut this little window and put more litter in the litter tray.

Then our cats will either have to cross their legs or use the litter tray!!

I'm always first up so I can open the window. They can get to their biscuits and water and other cats can't get in.

They can like it or lump it 😂
