No, I havn't read the Shades of Grey books ... nor ... seen the film(s) ... & ... I don't intend to ... & ... I'm no prude either

50 shades of what the hell did I do wrong this time? more like.

I'm outnumbered by the amount of women who swear the film is awesome and my description of it being waterdown romantic nonsense is not an accurate potrayal.

I am not one of those women. The author may be laughing all the way to the bank but I tried to read one of her books and felt she needed to go back to school to learn the English language.

Appallingly written and a terrible influence on young girls of today who may think that sort of treatment is normal

I'm with you @Cleoriff. I've neither read the book nor seen the film. I read the blurb of the book on Amazon and knew it was not for me. And like @Anonymous I'm no prude.

It just seemed like soft p**n to me and that's just not what I'm into. And to be honest who needs to read about what they can get in real life. S'all I'm saying.......😉

I've got friends who rave about the book and the film. Definitely not for me and I also agree it sets a very bad example to impressionable young girls who lack the experience of what a truly loving relationship is meant to be.

What's wrong with using your imagination ... in today's world of high-tech ... the individuality of a human being is beginning to be lost ... very sad to say  ... my imagination is of the vivid type = sometimes rather ott I'd say ...
