My 6s for the life of it woudn't ring (only vibrate) and all the settings pointed to sound being on!!!
LOL. Realised (Thanks Google) there's a mute button on the side!! You'd think it would have been mentioned in the settings, it was active!!!
Though you see the bell if you switch it on/off in front of you (accident or purposely)
Do you ever feel a silly sausage?

My new TV would switch off randomly, some people even returned it saying faulty!!
BUT having dug around it has a 'no button press timer' auto off Ecco setting !!! (though turned it off now LOL)
These things are to test us!!!!
I have something similar in my DVR (PVR,) but fortunately it's located in the settings menu. So I immediately turned it off.
And yes I agree, things are definitely sent to test us. And having a lot of patience and persistence helps: a lot!!

Not just me then!!
LOL, another! No sound coming from my Raspberry PI so I Googled & altered a line of code (still the same!) fnally realising the tv volume needed to be 40-50 to kick the cordless headphones into sound!!
