Hateful man. TBH, I thought he'd shuffled off ages ago.

A close friend to Margaret Thatcher and as a nurse back in her day, she came close to ruining the NHS with her policies. Very keen on looking after management tiers only, creating more and more, whilst working nurses were nearly on their knees. He supported that sort of 'wonderful development'.

"He was a man whose philosophy of self-reliance formed the core of his political beliefs."

Or to hell with those who weren't rich and powerful.

The photo which goes with the article shows on his bookshelves - a rather thick book - 'In Sickness & in Power.'
