Not exactly a hero of mine but I liked the cut of his jib. Certainly a much better television presenter and author than he was a chef, in the line of Keith Floyd, Rick Stein and Gordon Ramsay.
Edgy and entertaining with a dry sense of humour he clearly had issues, and will be sadly missed!
