Yet someone else leaving us. I was never really a fan but remember him from the 60's as the clean-cut suited Shane Fenton then the relaunched image as Alvin Stardust with the mean moody leather look with the trademark leather glove. RIP.

Now of course I used to love him. A gang of us frequently went to his concerts in the 60's and 70's
(Still got a piece of his fake leather collar he ripped off and threw to 'me' when I was at the De Montford Hall in Leicester.
We saw him less than a year ago at our 60's weekend at Brean He was as good then as ever....
Great showman.
R.I.P Alvin ...you will be sadly missed by many of us
