We tend to celebrate our Christmas as a family on Boxing Day @Luke30
We do take the granddaughter's presents to her on Christmas day though, as she is quite young and still at the age when she loves everything on the same day.😂
Boxing day, the family gather at ours to exchange gifts in the morning and then off we all go to Middlemarch Farm for a lovely Festive carvery. I no longer cook Christmas lunch, I've done that for 40+ years, so it's time to let someone else do it now 😂

As a retired nurse, I remember those days very well @Pipstop78. However, when I took on a Ward Sisters role, I tried to be fair when doing the off duty. If you had Christmas Day off you would be expected to work New Year. It worked pretty well.
