Password Managers - A Few Choices

I posted a thread recently of the worst passwords. Here's a good article about password managers to help you not use bad passwords. If you're not using a password manager, you should think about it.

I don't use password managers as I can remember mine but it will be useful for others

You must have a very good memory @Anonymous. I have way too many to remember. I use LastPass too @jonsie, but I'm a little concerned about the recent security breaches. I don't pay a subscription either. I think you only need to if you want to sync across devices.

Yes I do @Bambino, it helps if you use things that you can remember easily

Well, @Anonymous, I have over 60 passwords. A few too many to be able to remember easily, I think. If you have a personal system that helps you, that's great, but I find having a password manager a very useful tool.

I couldn't manage without a password manager at my age. I can't remember yesterday never mind passwords I created in years gone by!

....and yes, the recent hack is worrying but I won't be losing any sleep. The chances of you or I being affected are remote to say the least.

Thanks for the reminder about this @Bambino. Since this issue was last discussed I have been checking through those recommended. I decided to go with LastPass...
