I still use the old sayings my parents said to me when I was young here are a few

Where you born in a barn shut the door

When was your last slave die off 

Don't drink all your drink before you meal comes 

And the last one take your coat off you won't feel the benefit when you go outside

Same for us my mum gets up early on a morning with the dog she has every light on in the house
