So Adidas is launching an app to allow you to have Instagram pictures on your trainers. You can already add Instagram pictures to phone covers, coasters, hanging wall pictures, etc but this seems like a strange move.

I know Nike have allowed customisation with their trainers for some time, I've even have a customised pair myself, but do people really want pictures they've taken and uploaded to be on their shoes?

What sort of pictures would someone want on their shoe?

When my friend orders his trainers from Nike he always adds customisation such as embroidery of his name.

This app really shows that theirs an app for everything. ;(
